No assessment is 100% accurate. All assessments have inaccuracies. This can often come from differences in where we are when we take the assessment. Time of day or mood. This creates a need for a “best-fit” process that goes beyond any simple or even very complex and sophisticated assessment.
The Need for Best-Fit
A best-fit process solves many of the problems with inaccurate assessments. A best-fit process is not only a necessary psychological ethical requirement for many assessments it is also a great idea. We believe in providing the most amazing best-fit process to as many people as possible at the cheapest price.
Different psychological, sociological, economic and other models have different uses. There are significant statistical and scientific advantages of using multiple models. Being overcommitted to just one model can hurt a person’s opportunities to grow if you are using the wrong model in the wrong way.
Actually Doing Things
Too often psychology is used to provide an insight that is then never put in to use. We are focused on “Doing things with the insight”. We want to leverage the right model for each use to actually make people’s lives better. Help people build good habits and change behavior in a way that makes their life better, one step at a time.
We work closely with other researchers and many experts from different disciplines. We are all better by sharing research and helping. We embrace the diversity of knowledge and research being done in some many different areas. We are constantly working to improve our tools, process and product, and so welcome feedback. Each new bit of knowledge gained is another opportunity to make someone’s experience and life better. If a researcher finds a better way to be helping people, shouldn’t we be collaborating to leverage that?
Partners rather than Competitors
When people accurately have their best-fit personality type, then everyone benefits. When people have the wrong personality type, it hurts everyone trying to provide services. We embrace a growth mentality. There is plenty of space and so much work to be done, we choose to see other experts, providers and developers as future partners and collaborators rather than competitors. We will get farther working together than apart.
